About the AOPO Annual Meeting

The AOPO Annual Meeting unites leaders, innovators, and changemakers across the donation and transplant community to showcase groundbreaking research, bold ideas, and proven practices, all fueling our collective drive toward 50,000 annual organs transplanted in 2026.

The 43rd Annual Meeting will take place June 21 – 23, 2026 at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida.

Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) professionals, such as CEOs, senior leaders, Medical Directors, directors, managers, coordinators, as well as innovators and changemakers in the donation and transplantation community of practice.

Objective and Agenda

By the end of the Annual Meeting, the learner will be able to:

      • Describe the principles of OPO-driven normothermic regional perfusion (NRP) in donation after circulatory death (DCD), including its impact on organ utilization and outcomes
      • Integrate data-driven diagnostic strategies into interdisciplinary decision-making processes to reduce late declines and improve organ placement efficiency and recipient outcomes
      • Apply liaison-based partnership strategies and specialist integration models to enhance interdisciplinary communication, hospital engagement, and donation performance metrics
      • Identify at least two key metrics that measure OPO performance

2026 AM Registration Pricing Table

*Guests are able to be added onto a valid meeting registration. Includes entrance to the Sunday Grand Opening Reception in the Exhibit Hall and the Tuesday evening Closing Event. A guest is defined as someone 18 years of age or order who is not involved in any aspect of the OPO, donation, or transplant industry.

Cancellation Policy

To receive a refund, email a cancellation request to: meetings@aopo.org. Cancellation email must be received on or before Friday, May 29, 2026. Any cancellations on or before that date will receive a 50% refund. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations after May 29, 2026. Telephone requests will not be honored, and registration fees will not be issued for no-shows.
