In years past, AOPO has received reports from participants who have been contacted by unauthorized third-party housing agencies which are not affiliated with AOPO, offering to assist them in making hotel reservations. Unfortunately, there have been instances when these unauthorized companies provide false hotel confirmation numbers to unsuspecting guests who are later turned away from the hotel because they do not have legitimate reservations. AOPO strongly recommends that participants only reserve housing through InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta directly. Please contact meetings@aopo.org if you receive a solicitation from an unaffiliated third party or have any questions about housing procedures. InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta will not contact you by phone to market the room block.
