Clinical On-Site Specialist

If you thrive in critical care environments and have a strong command of medical terminology, chart review, and collaboration with different clinical teams, consider becoming a Clinical On-Site Specialist. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between Donor Alliance and our partnering hospitals, directly supporting the organ donation process.

 

  • In this role, you will work 14 swing shifts (2p-2a) 12-hour, on-call shifts per month (monthly shifts are self-scheduled, weekend requirements included).

o   12 hours on-call can turn into longer shifts – Donor Alliance covers two states – Colorado and Wyoming. We service the third-largest geographical area of all Organ Procurement Organizations.

  • Collaboration is essential in this role. Communication between multiple teams and hospital staff within tight timeframes is challenging and vital to making our mission happen. You will utilize a variety of systems and phone work to communicate among the teams.
  • This position plays a key role in reviewing medical records, speaking confidently with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, and coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of clinical practices and protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Serve as a clinical resource and on-site presence for donor evaluation.
  • Education and Relationship Management – we work closely with medical teams to ensure procedures are executed smoothly and efficiently, often serving as a bridge between healthcare providers and our internal teams during intense moments.
  • Critical Care – having exposure to an ICU setting is preferred.

  • $30.22 – $34.00/hour
  • Non-exempt (eligible for overtime)
  • Shift Differential: $3/hour, any hours worked between 7p-7a.
