Tasha Flowers, CPA, CGMA

Tasha Flowers is the Director of Finance & IT at ARORA (Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Agency). She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In addition to her formal degrees, she has earned several certifications. She is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Global Management Accountant, and certified in Not-for-Profit accounting from the American Institute for Public Accountants. She has worked in organ donation and transplantation for over six years in Finance. Her passion for this work began when her uncle, Mr. Sam Owens, received a kidney transplant. With this passion, Ms. Flowers works hard to develop innovative ways to improve the finances of ARORA. Before organ donation and transplantation, she had over 18 years of experience working in accounting for not-for-profit and governmental organizations. She has several years of experience working in organizations that receive funding from corporate or private donations. Her years of non-profit and governmental accounting experience make her an expert at allocating resources that will ethically and continuously support ARORA’s mission to restore lives through the recovery of organs and tissues.
