Wendy was the oldest of four siblings and the 2nd mother to us all. She was a best friend to many (Maid of honor in at least 9 weddings). She was a wife and mom to two beautiful kids and a Dog/cat/rabbit mom as well. She lived to serve everyone else. When she unexpectedly and unexplainably went into cardiac arrest while at a grocery store, the loss of oxygen led to her demise. The shock, sadness and total disbelief stunned everyone she knew. She was always helping everyone around her, so it was no surprise that she was an Organ donor. With extreme care and compassion, the Organ procurement team helped our family through the donation process. It is no wonder that the last act of her generosity was to save two lives by donating her liver and a kidney. We have some comfort knowing part of her is still living. We know she will only be truly gone when her name is last spoken, so please plant these virtual Forget-Me-Nots to honor Wendy, so she will continue to live on.
