Wendell Lee Rossiter III “Trey” – At the age of 16 he said Yes to being an organ donor because his mom was a registered donor never knowing that just 4 short years later he would actually be donating.
Trey is a true hero. He is a firefighter for three departments in Ohio, District 2 FD in Mercerville, Nelsonville Division of Fire in Nelsonville, and Huntington Township FD in Chillicothe. He is a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many. He touched so many lives in his short lifetime and continues to touch lives after death. He is loved and missed by many. Our lives will never be the same, but knowing that he is able to help others through his donations of eyes, veins, arteries, tendon, ligaments, nerves, skin grafts, heart valves with soft tissue, ribs, and upper and lower extremity bone with soft tissue gives us some comfort. We hope that those he helps through his donations live long healthier lives. #treyismyhero
