Walter George Macomber II (Wally) was 43 years old when he had a massive stroke. Wally was a beloved member of our family, which consists of parents, 3 sisters, a brother-in-law, and 2 nephews. Wally was an amazing, proud uncle. He would tell anyone who would listen about the latest adorable or funny thing his nephews did. Wally was also a fierce protector of those he called family and close friends. He was always present to cheer us on, and he would be in the front of the line to defend us. And he gave the best bear hugs; this is one of the things we miss the most!
