Our mom was the absolute best! She was always the rock we needed during tough times and our biggest fan no matter what. She was that grandma that set the bar unrealistically high, and her kids and grandkids miss her every single day. She would have celebrated her 57th birthday this month so honoring her donation this month feels like a small token of the immense appreciation we have for all that she did during her fifty four years on this Earth. She had the most beautiful, piercing blue eyes and to know that there are two people out there who can enjoy all the sights of this life because of her gives us a sense of… something that might be called peace, at some point, later in the grieving process.
