I received an organ transplant on 3/2/26. I do not know my donor, nor do I know many of their personal details. I DO know, that in the midst of the tragedy of their passing and the pain I’m sure their family experienced, they saved my life. I do hope it is some comfort to his or her family to know that they ARE a hero/heroine for their decision to donate to give the gift of extended life to others. While I mourn the passing of this stranger to whom I am now forever tied, I am so very grateful for this incredible gift. Thank you. 💐
