In March of 2024, I gave birth to my second child. One week later I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and post partum cardiomyopathy. Just two months after the birth of my daughter, I had to have a heart transplant. I am forever thankful for the unselfish decision for my donor and their family to donate their loved ones heart, so that I am able to be here with my children. There isn’t a day that I don’t think of and pray for them. I hope to one day meet my donors family.
