As I am a diabetic, Tania would always say, “Mom, if you ever need a kidney, I will give you mine”.
So, on that fateful day, 22 years ago, it was an easy decision when asked if we would donate my 15 year olds organs. Her kidneys enabled two people to live a normalized life, enjoying their families to their fullest.
She will always be our hero❤️
