My only child was so proud when she came home and showed her dad and I her drivers license and that she was a registered organ donor. When she left this earth in 2017 her dad and I both immediately registered to become donors. Then sadly 2yrs later her dad, my husband was able to also give the gift of life save by donating his organs. For me, having to endure both of these tragic losses within 2yrs of each other was awful. However, knowing both of my angels were able to give the gift of life to another human being(s), not only filled my heart with pride but it also gave me some comfort knowing part of them lives on.
