I am eternally grateful for my Donor Hero, Suzanne. I was the recipient of her liver on February 21, 2023. I have been fortunate enough to have connected with her lovely family and learn about her. They have been very gracious in sharing information about their beloved Sue. They share that she was very outgoing, caring and kind. She excelled at sports and was an exceptional soccer player. She loved animals, especially her cats and dogs. She loved hard and was very giving. She would have been pleased to know that her organs saved four other women's lives (2 of us have connected with the Donor's Mother). I think of my Donor Hero every day and say a prayer of thanks for her and her family.
