Solomon was just 24 years old, he graduated from Strawberry Crest H.S. and Hillsborough Community College, and was attending USF. He was working and learning about construction. He was loved by his friends and family and was a humble martial artist. He loved his family and friends and wanted a family of his own one day. He became a Donor Hero because I remembered how he responded when asked to become an organ donor when he first got his driver’s license! I wasn’t ready to let him make that decision, but I told him if something was to happen to him I would make the right decision for him. I never imagined having to really make that call but I am honored he allowed me to make it for him and when asked I didn’t hesitate, I knew that is what he would have wanted.
