Schaffer loved his friends and family with everything he had. His greatest love was for his three children. He is remembered for his kindness, compassion, empathy, and great sense of humor. Schaffer would be glad to know that even in his death he was able to help others. "Wherever a beautiful soul has been there is a trail of beautiful memories"
