Ryan, my precious son, gave the ultimate gift as a donor. His heart, liver, two kidneys, and both eyes are now bringing life, love, joy, adventure, and deep gratitude to those who received them. Even in death, Ryan continues to give—just as he always did in life.
Ryan loved deeply, and I was blessed beyond words to be his mum. We shared so many beautiful adventures together—memories I will carry forever. He was a free spirit, truly alive in the world, and fishing was his passion. He didn’t just enjoy it—he mastered it. He could fish for 24 hours straight with the patience of a saint.
He loved his family dearly. He was a wonderful brother and a devoted uncle. Ryan was a treasure in an earthly vessel—funny, intelligent, and an incredible cook. His generosity defined him. He didn’t care about material things (except his fishing gear), but he loved giving to others.
One of his happiest Christmases was in Hawaii, where he caught an abundance of tuna and gave it all away to local people as a gift. That was Ryan—finding joy not in keeping, but in giving. He even grew his hair long to donate it to children in need.
Giving was his nature—in life and in death.
Ryan is our hero, not only for how he lived but for the legacy he leaves in eternity. We will love him forever. We will always remember his love, his kindness, and the beautiful human being he was.
We were truly honored and blessed to have him in our lives.

Our treasure, always.
His Mum and family.
