After 71 years of good health, my husband surprised me when he came home and announced that he had signed up at the license branch to donate his body parts to "those in need". I was caught off guard with this announcement. Again I was caught off guard only 4 months later, when I received a early evening call from the hospital to come. Upon arriving at the hospital, words confirmed that he had died of massive heart attack. I thank God that he had made the decision just 4 months earlier and that his donations would be helpful to one or many others. He was a very healthy man who worked out 2 – 3 times per week and sometime 4 -5 times per week. His sudden death was a shock to everyone. I miss him terribly however knowing that #1 he was a Christian so now is in heaven and #2 his body continues to help others.
