My father was a proud WWII veteran and organ donor. When he died at the age of 95 I was unsure if his donation wish could be fulfilled. He had various health issues over the years, but when the representative from CORE contacted me, I was assured that he, indeed, would be a donor. I was so impressed with the way that this process was all handled, and I know my dad would have been so happy. He found joy in giving to others his whole life, and it was a blessing to know he could still help even after his passing.
