in 2017 while on vacation at his favorite place, Phil passed away unexpectedly and tragically doing something, he loved…bike riding along a shore road by the ocean.
Philip was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Phil and I met in Israel years ago; we have been together and inseparable ever since.
Phil was the love of my life and I will forever miss him. We have two incredible boys, Eben and Aidan.
Phil was an amazing father to both Eben and Aidan; from a very young age, Phil would plant our vegetable garden, with the boys, cook, bake and teach them how to Can. Phil enjoyed teaching the boys all about the world of traveling, exploring the outdoors, and listening to music., Phil had never stopped making time to spend with our children, he would throw a baseball, football, and Frisbee outside in our yard.
Philip dedicated over 30 years of his life to human services. He truly believed in helping those in need. With the donation of his gifts, his generous spirit will continue to live on in others.
Philip saved the lives of three people with the donation of his heart, liver, and both kidneys. He further touched the lives of others through tissue donation with over 100 gifts of skin and bone
tissue, and restored sight to two people through the donation of his corneas.
