Dad was full of passion for the things he loved. He believed in leaving a legacy behind and he did so by the example he set by how he lived his life. He lived adventurously and generously filling his time with trying to build something better for someone else and taking time for things he loved. Dad loved flying and used his love for flying to help rescue dogs and bring them to a place they could have a forever home. Another memorable trait of Dad was his work ethic. I can still hear his phone going off at 3 in the morning and hearing him going into work at the craziest hours to help a machine that had broken down without any hesitations. The way he lived his life as service to others is how he lives on even though he has physically passed away.
