At 64 years old Pat was getting ready to enjoy retirement.  He came home from a weekend golf trip on a Sunday and suffered a stroke.  As my son and I saw him being put into the ambulance he was awake and coherent. By the time we reached the hospital he was on life support.  He never woke up.  Pat was a great Dad.  He coached baseball, Dek hockey and loved golf.  We were married for 38 years.  We miss him more than words can say.  I hope his donations made a difference in the lives of those who received them.
