Patty was an attorney, a professor, and a business owner. She was a sister, an aunt, a bonus Mom, and a friend.
A blood clot traveled to Patty’s brain stem leaving her with “locked in syndrome” – she was only able to communicate by wiggling one of her toes. She lost the ability to breathe on her own, to speak, to move, to see, and to eat. Patty confirmed she did not want to live that way. She also confirmed she wanted her organs to be donated. She was a true hero.
A beautiful soul is never forgotten🌻.
