No one would ever known by looking at or talking to our Mom that suffered for years with mental illness. She was an amazing person, full of love and laughter. But the struggle within was one of pain and sorrow. She was a caretaker and a homemaker. There wasn’t a thing she wouldn’t do for another human being it was just her nature to nurture everyone she met. As children we were blessed with her homemade cooking and baking it come came straight from the heart. We of course never knew anything different that was normal in our home. Not until we all left home and had families of our own, did we know how blessed we really were. She was a Grandma that loved each and everyone of her grandchildren with all her heart. Tried to pass down her baking skills and life lessons to all her grand babies. This past year after a medication reaction, that gave our mom toxic lithium poisoning. It put into motion a chain of events that eventually took our Mom from us first her mental health and then physically when she took her own life. Though the loss of losing her in that way will always tear at our hearts! The donation of her tissue and long bone helps to know that even in death she is still helping others. Donation for us was a small way to bring some peace after horrible tragedy. 💚💙💚💙
