She had a special connection with dogs and horses, drawn to their loyalty and quiet strength — qualities she mirrored in her own life. Her heart was big, her laughter contagious, and her presence unforgettable.
She loved all things pink, strawberries, starbucks pink drinks and cake pops, brownies, Costa Vida sweet pork enchiladas. She was a hugely loyal BYU football fan.
Morgan was the adored little sister of three older brothers, who loved and protected her fiercely. She was her daddy’s girl — with a bond that ran deep — and her mother’s mini-me, sharing an unbreakable connection. The love that surrounded Morgan was powerful and ever-present, and she returned it in full, in every hug, every smile, every moment.
Her sudden passing at the young age of 16 has left an immeasurable void in our lives. Morgan died unexpectedly from cardiac arrest, and through genetic testing, it was confirmed that she had an undiagnosed genetic mutation known as SADS — Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome, more specifically CPVT(Catecholaminergic Polymorphic Ventricular Tachycardia). It’s a condition that few know about — a silent, hidden danger that tragically took our sweet Morgan far too soon.
Though her time here was far too brief, Morgan’s impact will never fade. She showed us how to love more deeply, to create fearlessly, and to live each day with open hearts.
We carry her with us always and are very proud of her generous gift of organ donation. Her kindness and generosity lives on in the 4 lives that she was able to save through her organ donation.
