Mindy’s father (my husband) went through a heart transplant 5 years ago this coming August. Mindy was close to her dad. When she passed, we were surprised to get a phone call from Michigan GOL. After her dad’s transplant, she signed up to be an organ donor. Mindy was a very giving person, who would give the shirt off her back for anyone in need. Even though she is no longer with us, it is comforting to know she still lives on in the people she helped get a second chance at life.
