My son Michael was our whole world. He lived life to the fullest. Michael loved hanging out with his family and friends. He was athletic and loved the outdoors. He especially loved fishing. My son wanted to be an organ donor, especially after finding out that I needed a liver transplant. Michael died while he was at work. He was 16. He became brain dead after being trapped for over 17 minutes. Our family was devastated and has been so hard living without him. He always had a smile on his face and made everyone laugh. He would of given you his shirt off his back if you needed it. I have my son’s liver, he was my match. Michael saved my life. He is truly my hero. He has also saved other lives too. His memory will always be with everyone that knew him.
