Mikey was the life of the party, the best friend anyone could ask for. He was the easiest person to talk to, and would give the shirt off his back to make sure someone else had one. He adored our kids, our niece and nephews. He was my everything.
A stroke stole that from me, our families and the world, in 2017. When Lifebanc came to ask if I would consider donating his organs, because he came up in the registry…it was a no brainer. This was something he wished to do, help people in any way he could. So we honored that, and let him give to the world one last time. Not a day goes by I don’t hope that his final gifts helped a family avoid losing their light.
