Matthew is my youngest son and as a teen expressed the desire to be an organ donor. It didn’t surprise me because Matt was always looking out for others first. I never dreamed that in my lifetime that I would have to speak the words to allow my sons organ/tissue donation happen. At the young age of barely 19 I received that middle of the night phone call that no parent should ever get. My son was killed by a drunk driver. Deep in my heart I know that Matt lives on because he helped others through his organ donation. Because of this our family and many of Matt’s friens are now organ Donors.
