Mark passed away in 2018 after battling alpha 1 anti trypsin deficiency. He knew that he wouldn’t be able to donate his organs but he was able to donate his corneas to someone that needed them. His philosophy was that it was the least he could do to pay it forward. Mark was waiting for a transplant to save his life. I miss him with everything I have, but I know that a part of him has helped save someone else and that is the most unbelievable act of love there is.
