Maddie came to live with me at age 8. She was medically fragile with cerebral palsy, shunt, and seizures and over the years, developed severe scoliosis. She was a joy and a blessing to all who knew her. A joyful and happy child who endured much pain and suffering, yet continued to smile. It only made sense to allow a part of her to live on in another where she could continue to be the blessing she was while living.
