My dad was on the last appointment he needed to be placed on the liver transplant list and everything was going as well as we could have hoped for when everything went wrong. He had to be admitted into the ICU during the very last appointment he needed. Little did we know that 10 hours later he would never wake up again. He was such a wonderful man who have done anything for anyone. There he was – giving until the end. We hope that his gifts of donation helped another family be able to have their loved one for as long as possible. My grief of losing him will never end but so thankful for everyone at Midwest Transplant Network for your constant support
