Lauren loved life. She always felt best whenever she was able to “give back.” The majority of jobs she held were with NGOs. The mission of those nonprofit organizations meant a great deal to her. Lauren also loved animals, especially dogs. Wherever she was traveling around the world you could be certain that there would be a picture of her with a new animal friend. Lauren also had a love of Doritos. She even posted on her Facebook page that her goal in life was to become an international Doritos connoisseur. She would inevitably find a bag of Doritos in most of the countries she traveled to. Lauren loved being there for her friends. Whether it was comforting her cousin going through chemotherapy or a friend in need of emotional support. There would be times she would go in the middle of the night just so that person would they were not alone.
Lauren’s final opportunity to give back was her gift of life through organ donation. Thank you Live On NY for making Lauren’s wish to help others come true.
