Kurtis was the type of guy that didn't let being in a wheel chair define him, he taught me and my siblings that even though someone is in a wheel chair you shouldn't treat them different. He was a loving husband, granddad to many, dad to 7 amazing kids and others who considered him dad that he never had a hard time keeping up with especially in the wheely contests.
