Kevin was a graphic artist and a fun loving guy. He loved the Yankees, summers in Cape Cod, and supporting his Irish Heritage. He was taken from us much too soon in August of 2015 from a brain aneurysm. What we didn’t know at the time was that Kevin was an organ donor. At first we were a little taken aback hearing that our beloved family member was gone, and now we had a decision to make. Now looking back, it was the best choice. We are so thankful he had made this decision for himself and we were happy to honor his wishes. His gifts of life have helped our family heal. It is reassuring each time we receive a letter telling us of another person who has benefited from his donation. He has donated his kidneys to two different people. His corneas were used as well. Finally, tissue was used to rebuild a man’s ACL so that he could continue playing football in the yard with his son. We miss Kevin every day. We want to honor this brave unselfish decision. We also want to support LifeChoice Donor Services so that they can continue their work in organ donation. We are so proud of our Brother/Uncle and are thankful to honor him.
