Kevin, our hero, left us in April 2021. He lit up every room he walked into with his infectious smile. He was such a loving and caring person, always helping others—even when he needed help himself. A true family man.
He made me a grandmother in February 2016 when we welcomed his son, Kyle, a true bundle of joy. Kyle was Kevin’s world, and he loved his son immensely.
Kevin was originally from The Bahamas. He loved the ocean, fishing, and enjoying his catch. His grandfather played a big role in his life, teaching him important survival skills. Kevin was a man of many trades and worked hard to support his family.
He leaves behind his son, grandmother, mother, and sister. His loss has been profound, and I continue to struggle without him. We celebrate Kevin every April 4th, his birthday, and April 13th, the day his organ donation surgery was completed.
Our hero gave life to four other people who are doing incredibly well. He lives on in others, and we are so proud of him. One day we will reunite, but in the meantime, we will keep his memory alive.
Love and miss you, son—forever in our hearts.
