Katie was a vibrant 22 year old who lived her life on the back of a horse, her idea of a best friend and confidant walked on 4 legs and had a swishy tail! Katie became an organ donor because her Papa received a heart transplant when she was 4 years old, little did we know way back then that she would one day need a precious gift of a heart as well. Sadly, Katie never got to receive that gift, we lost her to a stroke. If Katie were still here she would encourage everyone to become an organ donor.
