I would like to recognize my husband’s donor. His name is Justin, he was 22 when he passed. He gave my husband the gift of healthy lungs in 4/2021. After my husband spent 57 days on ECMO due to COVID 19. We received a letter from his mother shortly after sharing her story with us . Justin wanted to join the Army and was a great big brother to his siblings. I think about Justin just about everyday and I often pray for his family. We even have our own little memorial garden with beautiful roses. Thanks to all the donors and their families who often are the ones to make the hardest decision of their life.
