So my precious sister went in for a routine shoulder replacement surgery and unfortunately the next day was found unresponsive. So after 13 minutes they we’re able to resuscitate her to only put her on life support. She remained this way for 6 days and with much prayer and contemplating, we the family chose to turn the machines off. But before they did I was approach by the donor organization and it was like my sister herself said it was the right thing to do. One more thing she could do to help someone else. So sure enough the process began. I am so very happy this decision was made and pray others make the same decision when faced with the choice. I know my sister is looking down and smiling that she help others in need.
