Ray was a huge advocate for the KY Organ Donor program. His younger brother was a recipient of a pancreas & kidney transplant. Ray even carried donor forms with him, and handed them out to anyone he met. He was a registered donor, and completed his greatest wish to be a donor when he passed away suddenly in 2010. He was able to be an eye, tissue, and bone donor. He would, and I’m sure is, very happy and proud to have accomplished this final goal at the end of his lifetime.
