Joseph went home on June 3, 2021 at 8 years old. Not long before that we heard a commercial on the radio about organ donation and he asked what it meant. We explained the concept to him and without hesitation, he said he wanted to do that because, as he said, “When I’m dead, I won’t need them anymore, and it could help someone else.” When we got the call from Lifelink of Georgia, we said yes without hesitation because of what our brave boy had said.
