Joseph “JAC” Carper was a happy and energetic 4 year old boy. He was the son of Shannon and Joe Carper, and had two sisters (Charlotte and Mia).  He loved to swing, run, spin, jump, and play outside. He loved Disney Pixar movies, particularly “Toy Story”, and watching videos on his iPad.

One evening, when JAC was home with his grandmother and sisters he bypassed the door-guard in place at his family’s home and wandered into a neighbor’s pool. Within minutes he was found by the neighbors, who provided lifesaving measures until Emergency Services arrived. He was taken to the ER where staff attempted to treat him, but it was too late, and JAC was gone.
His parents were blessed to be able to honor his life via organ donation through CORE (Pittsburgh).
