Jim “Jimmy” was a committed and dedicated son, brother, husband, father, uncle, friend and employee. He had a very charming personality that helped him work his way up the ladder in sales for 37 years, from which he retired from 2 1/2 years ago.
Jim and his “soul mate” Kelly were married 25 years ago in St. Lucia. Their common love for adventurous outdoor activities was one big thing that drew them together. They have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Erika “Jojo” and Saige “Saiger”.
Jim’s mission as a husband and father was to provide a comfortable life for the girls and to share his love for the great outdoors. They created a lot of precious memories together, with family and friends, up-north in the woods and on the lakes.
Jim enjoyed spending time with his buddies on leagues….shooting trap, bowling and golfing. He was also one of the 1st buffalos that formed the “Loyal Order of Buffalo” 37 years ago; a group of his friends who get together up north, annually to celebrate their loyal brotherhood.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman, who was passionate and forever fascinated about wildlife and mother nature! He found such peace and serenity when fishing, hunting, golfing, or just spending time in the woods or on the water; feeling even more joy when he could share it with his family and friends.
Jim kept up-to-date with the sports world, especially the NFL and the Green Bay Packers. Besides watching football, Jim enjoyed kicking back and watching a good tv series, i.e. “Sons of Anarchy”, “Vikings”, “Yellowstone” and movies i.e. “John Wick”, “The Patriot”, “Braveheart”.
Everyone who knew and talks about Jimmy usually catches themselves saying “I can hear his laugh right now!” His distinct, boisterous voice and laugh will echo in our minds forever! While watching the Packers, he often said exactly what the commentator said just before they said it. He had such a special, “goofy” way of making people love him; people often wondered “What did he just say?” when he threw in one of his funny, made up quotes. A few being: “Schmick nick nilly wuck”, Gave it some “Yakabusky”, “I feel fine as frogs hair” after a medical procedure, “Going to the gunshow” before a workout.
Jim’s big, bright smile, loyal camaraderie, witty humorous comebacks, charming words of wisdom and entertaining stories are going to be missed by all.
Rest peacefully, Jim (hope you found a nice comfy cushy “Pillowmina” to cuddle with). We are so proud of you and your choice to give your gift of life to so many others. We will forever cherish our special times we shared with you…until we meet again.
