My Donor Hero is Mr. James Triana, Sr. Thanks to Mr. Triana and the compassionate decision of his family to donate his organs, my life and the life of several others were saved. I am eternally grateful to Mr. Triana and my donor family for giving me a second chance at life. The planting of the Forget-Me-Not flowers to honor Mr. Triana is part of my continuing effort to honor him, his family and all in the transplant community by advocating through education and encouraging organ, eye & tissue donation.
