Jacob Lucas was a 21-year-old Letcher County native who passed away in a car accident in 2013. Jacob provided the Gift of Life to many recipients, as he made the decision to register as an organ donor at a young age. Jacob saw firsthand the impact that donation made to him and his family when his Grandfather, Dan Lucas was given a second chance at life through a heart transplant.
