In 2018 Kylar received the gift of lungs and bone marrow. We are forever grateful that our young son, 20 at the time, was given an opportunity to live life because of the knowledge and kindness that the donor family had. Even though they were in the midst of grieving the loss of their own young son they honored him. Kylar is miraculously 7 years post transplant! We will meet the donor’s parents at Kylar’s upcoming wedding! Something we didn’t think we would ever get to experience. We will not come together to grieve that day but we will celebrate one of life’s most memorable moments. We are blessed and grateful!❤️
