Jace Davidson Tribute
The Davidson Family comes today to honor Jace Paul
Davidson who was born on October 4, 1997, and passed away
on June 2020. Jace attended Geraldine High School from
kindergarten and was a 2016 graduate. While in high school,
Jace studied masonry at the DeKalb County Technology center.
He enjoyed this word and was very good at it. Jace was an
employee of Colormasters in Albertville.
Jace loved music of all kinds. He was an accomplished
drummer and piano player. He played by ear. He never wanted
attention drawn to this talent. For him, playing music was pure
joy.
Jace loved the outdoors, especially the beautiful High Falls
near Geraldine. He spent countless hours there and was often
found jumping from the highest rocks. He loved adventure.
Jace is survived by his parents Rodney and Melisa
Davidson. He adored his younger sister Erica. His surviving
grandparents are Roger and Vickey Davidson. Jace was
preceded in death by grandparents Orvil and Gladys Bearden
Jace was most proud of his own beautiful little family. Jace
loved his beautiful baby girl with every fiber of his being. Lelah
Alexandria, who will turn three in March, is truly the purest joy
in Jace’s life. Mia LaMunyon is Jace’s girlfriend and Lelah’s
mother. Jace loved Klayton Botttomlee as his own.
Jace was a young man who loved and lived with all he had
Family was of the utmost importance to him, and he truly
believed that people should be good to others. Jace was known
for the amazing smile that he had. He always smiled! His
favorite quote from his favorite singer Mac Miller in the song
“Best Day Ever” fits Jace Davidson perfectly: “No matter where
life takes me. find me with a smile.”
