Heather was 21 years old and just weeks away from graduating from the WVU School of Nursing. Her life was tragically cut short when she was the passenger in an alcohol-related car crash. Heather was in a coma for a week. She was declared brain dead March 31, 2008.
Heather “Gifted” her heart, both kidneys, and her liver. She also enhanced the lives of over 50 through tissue donation. Even in her death…she continues to save lives!
