Gene was always giving to others and a helping hand whenever he could. If you were stranded he would go to lengths to pick you up. If your car broke down he would be there to help even if he got a call at 2 in the morning. He just felt that someday he may need some help and hoped the favor would be returned. He loved life and loved to joke around. His greatest love was for his children and grandchildren whom he adored.
He really did dedicate his life to being there for others whenever he could.
