My amazing blessing, my first born son, a mother’s dream and my best friend, Gene Patrick Coppola Jr. Gene, who I called my Beanie, decided on his own to become an organ donor and he was the first in our family. Gene had recently turned 21 became an organ donor. He was outgoing, funny as hell, always joking, loved life, LOVED his family , lived big and enjoyed every moment. He was a blue eyed gorgeous young man, amazing son and the best big brother to two younger siblings, who he would jump for. He had gotten into the carpenters union at 20 years old and was working two jobs. He was very responsible and was definitely the man of our house. Gene was strong, hard working, hard loving, silly and loved to help people. He saved four lives with his selfless decision and one child was only 15 and needed multiple organs. I am so proud of who my son was in this world and who he was to us, his family. I am so proud that his selfless nature can still shine through his donations and his non profit foundation GENE Strong Foundation to carry on his legacy of helping others. #LongLiveGene
