Gary was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. I am honored to be his wife and mother of his children. His family was everything to him. He was loved and respected by many.
Gary was a great outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, camping, cutting wood, and all manners of outdoor cooking. He also roasted coffee, was an accomplished blacksmith and woodcarver, was an avid reader, had a passion for history, and was a historical reenactor. He enjoyed playing chess, cribbage, and a good game of Sheepshead.
Gary died unexpectedly, he was doing something he enjoyed on a beautiful day in the great outdoors.
He was a registered organ and tissue donor and lives on in others.
We miss him terribly and know he is watching over us.
